Alan Korejbo

Archaeologist / Project Manager
Alan has 20 years of experience as an archaeologist and has been employed as a consulting archaeologist by some of the largest environmental consulting companies in Canada. Alan has gained considerable heritage assessment, mitigation, and monitoring experience in Precontact period and Historic period archaeology throughout the Northern Plains and Subarctic boreal forest of western Canada. Alan has been involved with numerous archaeological projects related to urban infrastructure, the oil and gas industry, mining industries (e.g., uranium, gold, diamond, coal, sand/gravel), and renewable energy industries (e.g., wind and hydropower projects) throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba. Alan has a great working relationship with the provincial heritage regulator and has an excellent knowledge of provincial legislation and regulatory requirements.

Louise Seidel

Managing Partner
Louise Seidel is the co-founder of Respect Heritage Consulting. She is proud of the company’s dedication to preserving and celebrating diverse cultural landscapes. Her experience as a crip artist and theatre educator has helped develop her deep commitment to inclusive storytelling and community collaboration which is valuable in the heritage consulting industry. Louise is passionate about ensuring diverse voices and histories are not only preserved but honoured.

Alissa Philipenko

Archaeologist
Alissa (M.A. Candidate, University of Saskatchewan) has over 10 years of experience with archaeological collections and archaeological field work. Alissa has specialized in the identification of faunal (zooarchaeology) and human remains from Precontact and Historic period archaeological sites on the Great Plains. She has archaeological experience from all over Saskatchewan and has worked in professional, academic, and public settings. She is currently working as a consulting archaeologist for Respect Heritage Consulting and aims to be a future permit holder.

Anna Hoimyr

Archaeologist
Anna is a University of Saskatchewan graduate with three years of experience with archaeological collections and two years of archaeological field experience. She has archaeological experience at several historic sites in Saskatchewan including Fort Carlton and the Original Humboldt Telegraph Station. Anna has a strong emphasis on historic archaeology, and has worked with historic documents, transcriptions, and archival collections. She has extensive experience in community outreach and public education concerning archaeology. She is currently gaining professional experience at Respect Heritage Consulting.

Laurel Ebner

Archaeologist
Laurel is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with three years of experience with archaeological collections and two years of archaeological excavation experience. She has both academic and professional experience in Pre-Contact and Fur Trade archaeology in Saskatchewan and is continuing to acquire professional experience through Respect Heritage Consulting. Laurel has focused primarily on heritage protection throughout her academic and professional careers. She is interested in using her experience with faunal analysis to establish connections with Metis and First Nations communities.

Meenu Rajendran

GIS Analyst
Meenu Rajendran is a skilled data analyst and Python developer with a strong foundation in computer science and artificial intelligence. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, along with a postgraduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. Meenu specializes in building predictive models, insightful dashboards, and automating data workflows. She applies exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques to uncover actionable insights across various domains. Her technical expertise includes Python, SQL, Power BI, QGIS, computer vision, text mining, and database management. Currently, she focuses on GIS and spatial data analysis to support environmental and heritage resource projects at Respect Heritage.

Adina Neal

Archaeologist
Adina is an undergraduate student at the University of Saskatchewan with field school experience at the Original Humboldt Telegraph Station. She has experience working with and cataloging archaeological collections, with a strong focus on zooarchaeological material. Adina also has an interest in paleoanthropology. Adina has extensive volunteer experience in the archaeology community, and has contributed to many projects over the years. She is currently gaining professional experience at Respect Heritage Consulting.
